The Admonition

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman lives in an alternate reality. He has written an op-ed in today’s New York Times entitled “The Big Hate”. In his article he portrays all conservatives as extremists, justifying in his mind, the Homeland Security report in April about the rise of right wing extremism. Krugman, points out that the abortion doctor George Tiller, and the shooting at the holocaust museum were perpetrated by right wingers gone astray.

But the sad thing is, Krugman insinuates that these crimes were committed because of conservative talk radio and Fox News. That is totally and intentionally false. True, the man who killed George Tiller was a self proclaimed anti-abortion activist, but there is no proof that talk radio prompted his actions. This man was prompted by the actions of George Tiller himself, who routinely performed late term abortions; a horrific practice indeed.

The other example he sights, the white supremacist who shot and killed a police officer at the holocaust museum is completely without validation. The man, if anything, was a leftist, he hated everything that a true conservative stands for. Most importantly he hates Jews, he hates Israel. Anyone with any type of intellectual honesty knows that conservatives are the biggest allies that Jewish people and the state of Israel have.

Krugman of course doesn’t mention the killing of a U.S. soldier in Alabama, committed by none other than a converted Muslim who thinks that all U.S. soldiers are “baby killers”. Krugman is a typical liberal who can only see the world through a liberal prism. He is stirring the pot of hate, not conservative radio, not Fox News. Krugman and people like him are as much to blame for the culture of death and hate in America as anyone. For that, and for his ridiculous piece in the Times, I say Paul Krugman is a Jackass.
