I found this story from 2007 about potential heart risks associated with drinking Coke Zero. Now mind you, I don’t work for Coke, but I do like the stuff. And liberals everywhere, from high profile liberals like President Obama to socialist dictators like Hugo Chavez are on the nanny state kick right now.

Don’t drink this, don’t smoke that, you better eat right or you’re going to die. Here’s a news flash for all you crazy health nut, let’s make everybody live healthy so we can run their lives longer out there. You will die. No matter whether you drink Coke Zero or don’t drink it. You can shoot it up intravenously or never touch the stuff, you’re still outta here.

The bottom line with Hugo Chavez as with most every other socialist liberal is that they want total control over your everyday life. Barack Obama wants to control your every move, make no mistake about it. The idea that they are only looking out for your health or your best interest is a joke.

Obama is going to make us a healthy nation, he’s working on a socialized medicine plan right now. He’s going to make you eat what he eats, workout like him and Michelle. He’s going to stick it to the doctors and the healthcare providers for making you pay so much just to get a physical. We’re going to be a nation full of Obama’s. Cool and smooth, and immortal.

Hugo Chavez has other motives for banning Coke Zero, not really sure what those are yet; he’s just an anti-capitalist, anti-American, socialist dictator who likes to throw his weight around. So what’s the real danger? Coke Zero health risks; or the risks associated with an ultra-liberal, socialist-light government, run by a guy who thinks he knows better than you whether you should have that soda or not. I’m kinda thirsty now, I think I’ll have one.
