According to Madame Speaker, the longer we refuse to put our country into a hole that our children will have no way of digging out of, 500 million Americans lose their jobs every month. The only problem is there are only just over 300 million Americans. That’s some more of that “funny math” that Ross Perot made famous all those years ago.

Ok, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt. I’m sure she meant to say 500 thousand jobs a month. Let’s hope so, for her sake; but mostly for our sake. Jeez!
