We’ve all heard the comparisons of Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter; Obama’s the next Carter, it will be as bad as Carter, blah, blah, blah. But this takes the cake. An article written criticizing Obama’s foreign policy as being like that of Carter has raised the ire of an interesting critic. Jimmy Carter himself.
Carter wrote to the editor of Foreign Policy magazine defending his deplorable foreign policy. Could it be that Carter himself doesn’t understand just how awful his foreign policy was or does he just find it reprehensible to be compared to Barack Obama?
It’s just too rich.
