Whether or not you agree with the Supreme Court’s decision last week regarding corporate donations to campaigns, you must agree that President Obama calling them [the Supreme Court] out on the carpet was truly classless. Obama knew that he had the bully pulpit and he decided to placate to the left at the expense of the Justices.

Who can blame Justice Alito for mouthing the words, “Not true?” What Obama said in essence wasn’t true. He claimed that the court’s decision would open the floodgates for special interests; like those floodgates haven’t been open for some time now. Regardless, Obama’s actions were blatant demagoguery.

He chose to single out an entire branch of government, claim they were wrong, and have them openly chastised in front of a national audience. Demagoguery like we’ve not seen in this country before from the highest office in the land. But what do you expect when a man child has been elected President of the United States?

Obama’s speech screamed of desperation, and the voters have seen through his facade. Obama’s speech last night was an attempt, a failed attempt I believe, to capture the magic of the campaign. Sorry Mr. President, the campaign’s over, and you’re going to have a tough year.
