The climategate scandal has more layers than the Polar ice caps. The Washington Times is reporting that Obama Climate Czar Carol Browner simply shrugged off the news of hacked emails that show climate scientists haven’t exactly been on the up and up. Browner says that as far as she’s concerned it’s settled science.
Carol Browner says that 2500 scientists have been studying the issue for a long time and agree that the problem is not only real, but manmade. Emails from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia show that researchers had fudged the numbers on climate change and discussed what to do with the problem of scientists who disagree.
Despite climategate, Carol Browner is forging ahead with Obama’s socialistic takeover of the American economy to “save the planet”. Liberals don’t care about facts, and as much as they say they do, they don’t care about debate either. At the very least the surfacing of the emails warrants an investigation. Instead we’ve got Obama vowing a reduction in greenhouse gases, Al Gore charging $500 dollars a head at climate change lectures and the Climate Czar Carol Browner acting as if nothing’s changed.
Obama’s Climate Czar says that those who don’t believe in global warming are very few in number. I guess I’m part of the few. Another layer to the climategate scandal involves another Obama Czar, John Holdren the Science Czar. But hey, Obama will go to Copenhagen on his way to receive the Nobel Peace Prize and “vow” our futures away. Good times, good times.

I am not a denier of climate change, but I am a denier of government control. As far as I’m concerned, climate change doesn’t give the government the right to monitor my use of resources, limit my rights to personal property, or punish/tax me for what I choose to do with my liberty. F#%k them!

You’re right tommyzax, even if man was destroying the earth with his activities, the government doesn’t have the right to impose anything on anybody just to “save the planet”.
I still don’t think man by himself is capable of destroying the planet. And the whole idea of carbon being a pollutant is ridiculous. Don’t get me started. It’s a racket, with people like Al Gore behind it getting rich off of people’s fears.

Not a single liberal stood up and said “wait a minute”, when the government asked us to believe that they could control the weather thru legislation. Global Warming is really just a play at every individual’s resources which is why Browner isn’t interested in opposing scientific views. They’ll only get in the way with what she believes is a convinced public, ready to turn control of our lives over to her and other unelected bureaucrats.
