Much to the dismay of big government liberals everywhere, the first National Tea Party Convention will be held February 4-6 in Nashville, Tennessee. And to make matters worse for critics of the Tea Party movement, the keynote speaker will be none other than Sarah Palin. The National Tea Party Convention could be a signal that the movement is more than just a bunch of local yokels that hate Obama.
Not only will Sarah Palin be at the National Tea Party Convention, but another favorite whipping post of the left Rep. Michele Bachmann will be there as well. Bachmann will be speaking in Nashville at the Opryland Hotel as well.
The left is going to love that. It’s a liberals dream for criticism, Palin, Bachmann, tea baggers, Tennessee and the Opryland Hotel. The good news is liberals still don’t publically take the tea party movement seriously (although privately I’m sure they understand its impact).
Palin’s been riding high of late with an ever increasing approval rating and the sale of 700,000 copies of her book in its first week. Bachmann has already been in march on Washington mode by organizing on short notice a group of thousands of protesters earlier this month.
