Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will visit Fort Hood on December 4th as part of her National Book Tour says WSJ Washington Wire. The event had already been scheduled before the massacre that left 13 dead. Palin’s book “Going Rogue” is due to be released on November 17th.
Palin is set to begin her book tour November 18th in Grand Rapids, Michigan; you can see a partial list of cities to be visited here. Sarah Palin is due to visit Fort Bragg, North Carolina as well. She’s a big hit with the men and women in uniform.
Sarah Palin will be a welcomed site at Fort Hood in December while many of the families and friends there will still no doubt be in a state of shock and grief. Having someone like Governor Palin make an appearance and show her support will be a huge moral boost for those stationed at the largest military base in the country.
