A Saudi Court of cassation has upheld a child rapist crucifixion that is being called by International Human Rights groups draconian in nature. A 22-year old man convicted of child rape is to be beheaded and have his body crucified as a warning to other potential criminals.

Flag of Saudi Arabia

The child rapist crucifixion will not be the first in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this year, there have been 40 executions to date. In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia you can be executed for murder, rape and drug trafficking.

The man accused and convicted raped five children leaving one in the desert to die; the child at the time was three years old according to Reuters. Authorities used the help of a seven year old to nab the perpetrator.

The child rapist crucifixion and beheading is the easy way out for this slime ball. Think about the torture and punishment that he put innocent children through as they were being violated, not to mention the years of mental anguish that those incidents will cause.

Of course human rights groups are sounding the alarm, claiming that the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. A child rapist crucifixion is about the closest type of punishment I could think of for an offense this horrendous. Meanwhile here in the states we send child rapists to jail and try to “rehabilitate” them; Saudi Arabia may have the answer for the most horrific of crimes.
