The climate crisis has reached the point that drastic measures have to be taken. It’s time to replace your dogs and cats with animals that can be eaten, like chickens and rabbits. In a wacko environmentalist book called “Time to Eat the Dog”, Brenda and Robert Vale say that the carbon footprint of the average dog is larger than that of an SUV. How long before the environmentalist advocate the slaughter of house pets?

While the title of the book suggests it, the couple is not saying you should eat your pets, yet. Brenda Vale says that people are worried about owning an SUV but they aren’t worried about the impact of their pets on the environment. I am, but that’s usually after I’ve stepped in it. She says:

“If you have a German shepherd or similar-sized dog, for example, its impact every year is exactly the same as driving a large car around,” Brenda Vale said.

“A lot of people worry about having SUVs but they don’t worry about having Alsatians and what we are saying is, well, maybe you should be because the environmental impact … is comparable.”

They went on to show in their studies that a medium size dog has a smaller carbon footprint than a Toyota Land Cruiser. That doesn’t bother me as much as people who would spend the time on such insane experiments wasting air that an otherwise normal person would be breathing.

Listen, if wacko environmentalists would turn on animals (especially dogs and cats) than we’re next. I always thought the environmentalists and the animal rights nuts were allies. If the environmentalists turn on the animal lovers, nothings to stop them from getting rid of people whose carbon footprint is too big.

Maybe it’s a ploy, get the animal lovers to start complaining about their beloved animals being targeted, then switch targets. Babies? Nah, babies are already targeted to a certain extent. Maybe old folks; you really never know with the wacko environmental movement.
