Warning of a Global Government meant to enforce the transfer of wealth from rich Nations like ours to third world Nations, Lord Christopher Monckton says that Barack Obama is poised to cede our sovereignty over to the United Nations in the name of saving the planet. This would be done he says by the signing of the Global Climate Treaty in Copenhagen in a few weeks.
Lord Christopher Monckton speaking at the Minnesota Free Market Institute 5 days ago said that within the climate treaty that Obama is so willing to sign, the ceding of our sovereignty awaits. A global government will be established that will be run of course by the U.N.; the scary part of all of this? Once Obama signs the climate treaty and if the Senate were to ratify that treaty, that treaty by virtue of Article 6 of the Constitution, would effectively trump the Constitution.
Essentially what would take place according to Lord Christopher Monckton is that rich countries like the United States would have its wealth transferred to poorer countries based on the fact that we screwed the planet’s climate up, while they (the poor countries) were just victims.
The big picture is this, once we enter into this treaty we will never be allowed to leave it. All member Nations of the treaty would have to “let you out”. We of course would never be let out because we would be forced to pay in the most since we “pollute” the most. Countries who are benefiting financially from our poor position of being in the Copenhagen Treaty would never allow us out.
What is the probability of this happening? We know that Barack Obama will sign just about any type of Climate Treaty placed in front of him. As much as the democrats harped about George Bush and the Kyoto Protocol, it’s a done deal. The key is the US Senate which would have to ratify by a 2/3 majority.
I should say the key to all of this is us. Continued pressure is what is needed. Tea parties, protests, whatever it takes within the confines of the law. Lord Christopher Monckton is pleading for our help, it is up to the American people once again to save the Nations sovereignty.

The Republicans are going to pull the plug on my grandmother!!!! She has worked all her life and has no medical insurance. Republicans are violently objecting to government health care which effectively pulls the plug on my grandmother.

it seems to me that this is more an american issue then a world issue.
transferring money to the third world wich had to suffer a lot, from a country wich is responsible for it , is a good thing i can t see anything negative in it. of course the one who has to pay the bill will not be very amused of it. but this is fairness and this is right way to establish justice.
no one except the natives of the country who is doing it thinks that it is o.k. when one part of the world is suffering for the other one to ensure a luxury live for them

For those who take the time to look for facts on their own and not just accept what is handed to them you would know that the world is not going though global warming, it is actually cooling, not to mention that studies have shown that in past times though core samples CO2 has been higher than today with other “green house” gasses and has existed cyclically though out time. The environmental movement is fear mongering and the uninformed (ignorant) are being whipped up.
Think about global warming on a planet that is 2/3 water. If the planet gets warmer what happens to water? If you have a lot of water in the sky what happens? It becomes clouds. Clouds reflect sunlight so there will always be a balance. As more water evaporates and forms clouds the more sun light reflected and the planet cools and they cycle repeats. This is normal.
This is all propaganda for power and money.

Over centuries governments have put fear into the population to make them do what they want them to do. It is a trusted and tried tool that works. There maybe a global warming, but if you look at the timeline of earth, you will find that every 20,000 or so years there is an ice age and 2000 years before (give or take a few hundreds) the climate on earth is changing ( temperature up and down). Check it out – the next ice age could be in about 1000 to 2000 years. (You and I don’t have to worry about it).

By the way, a president is supposed to look out for his or her OWN country first. So, if someone wants to talk about getting a head out of one’s rear end, get your own out.
Unemployment is going above 10 percent and jobs are not being created. THIS needs to be addressed before we start trying to fix poverty in third world countries. There is plenty of poverty right here. Of course help other people, but not at our own country’s expense!

Over the last 40 years this country has lowered crime DRAMATICALLY. Teen pregnancy is lower now than it was in the 50s! Teen drug use is down. Test scores are higher. Wealth is higher. Poverty is lower.
But for all my time on this planet I’ve only heard how the president is part of some conspiracy to…Christ I can’t even remember there are so many of them.
Unemployment is exactly where everyone expects it to be…it’s lagging 12 months behind the stock market….just like it always has.
