The aged and overpriced Madonna Jerusalem tour got underway today when the once top of the world diva arrived in the holy city for a couple of concerts this week. Madonna, 51 years old and still as wacky as ever will tour holy sites in the holy city.
Madonna isn’t a Jew, but she does practice Jewish mysticism; this is the reason for the holy city tour. The former pop queen has even taken the Hebrew name Esther. Don’t you think the Esther of the Bible would be so proud? Madonna went on a tour of an ancient tunnel near the western wall where Jewish faithful come to pray.
Also scheduled on the Madonna Jerusalem tour is a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; oh to be a fly on the wall. Do you ever wonder why some people just don’t go away?
