Kansas Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins stepped in it big time when she said the republicans were looking for a “great white hope” to stop Obama’s radical agenda. She apologized, I’m not going to. I’m looking for a great white hope to stop his radical agenda, but I don’t care if they are white, black or Hispanic; just stop it.
The media is obsessed with race, the left is obsessed with race; every comment posed by a republican or conservative has to be analyzed and scrutinized for its racial connotations. Lynn Jenkins “great white hope” comment had nothing to do with race, anyone with half a brain could figure that one out. This is what Jenkins said on Aug. 19:
“Republicans are struggling right now to find the great white hope,” Jenkins, who is white, said. “I suggest to any of you who are concerned about that, who are Republican, there are some great young Republican minds in Washington.”
Now obviously Lynn Jenkins was speaking about the republicans finding their way and stopping the radical leftist agenda of Barack Obama. He of course is black so any type of criticism is deemed to be racist. How shallow.
Lynn Jenkins “great white hope” of Kansas meant no harm, liberals will use any type of nonsense to fight back anyone critical of their radical policies. It’s just the world we live in, I suppose we need to get used to being called racists regardless of how we really feel.
