First let me ask the question: What crime isn’t motivated by hate? Eric Holder, Obama’s Attorney General testified that white Christians and ministers will not be protected under the proposed Hate Crime Bill. Listen in the video to Holder, he is talking about interpreting thought.

Holder Testifies At Senate Hearing On Hate Crime Prevention Act

Eric Holder

A hate crime under the Obama Administration, would be any crime against a black, Hispanic, gays and lesbians and any other group that Holder deems has the right to this type of “extra” protection from crime. Holder stated in the Judiciary Hearing:

“Well, the statute would not – would not necessarily cover that. We’re talking about crimes that have a historic basis. Groups who have been targeted for violence as a result of the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, that is what this statute tends – is designed to cover. We don’t have the indication that the attack was motivated by a person’s desire to strike at somebody who was in one of these protected groups. That would not be covered by the statute,” Holder stated.

If you’re white, Christian or simply a non-minority you have less right to protection than these minority groups do. Eric Holder’s Hate Crime Bill is reverse discrimination, period.

Imagine if John Ashcroft had backed legislation protecting white evangelical Christians, giving them specific rights granted to no other group. What a firestorm that would have been.
